About Quality Control
Operating with Management System ISO-9001:2015
We have acquired ISO-9001:2015 (international standard certification) and deploy a thorough quality management system across the entire company. We provide reliable, satisfying products using a thorough quality management system that oversees all processes, from material procurement to development, manufacturing, inspection, and logistics.
Role of Quality Assurance in Product Development and Improvements
Cooperation Among the Planning, Development, and Quality Assurance Divisions
Quality assurance begins at the initial planning stage, the starting point for manufacturing. Our Planning and Quality Assurance Divisions are on the same floor, which creates daily opportunities for discussion and communication when considering new ideas.
Safety Comes First. Manufacturing that Values the Actual Site and Product
We place a great value on seeing the actual site and product firsthand. We ensure product safety and quality by going to the manufacturing site and seeing the actual product before receiving data.
Role of Quality Assurance in Manufacturing and Delivery
Thorough Production Line Checks Before Manufacturing
Whether within Japan or overseas, when creating prototypes for mass production, staff from the Quality Assurance Division carry out on-site inspection of the production line. They verify what kind of documentation is posted, and whether required regulations are being followed, strictly checking that the rigorous quality control system is being maintained prior to proceeding to production.
A Double Check System from the Quality Assurance Division at Factory and Headquarters Before Delivery
We evaluate whether products are completed as stipulated by performing on-site spot checks at the production site, checking that products are assembled as specified and are free of any defects. Moreover, an additional spot check is provided by the Quality Assurance Division under direction from headquarters.
In some instances, products manufactured at our overseas factories are sent directly to the delivery destination without passing through headquarters in Japan. In such cases, a separate inspection team with the Quality Assurance Division in Japan oversees inspection independent of the factory's quality assurance department.
